St. Michael’s Notes

St. Michael’s Bingo Session
The €100 on the Blue Sheet Game at the Bingo Session in Creeslough on Sunday night last was won by Mary Boyle Massinass Creeslough. The €75 was won by Evelyn Toye, Grogagh, Creeslough.
The Bingo in Creeslough now runs as follows: There are 10 games in the book and then the sheet game.
The €1,000 on the sheet game is now on 50nos or less.
Single Book including sheet €10 Double Book and Double Sheet €16.
Please come out and support your local Bingo.

St. Michael’s Mini Lotto
There was no Jackpot winner in the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 2,9,13,14,19,20; the Match 5 Winners were Christy McGinley Kilcar and Karen Smyth Northern Ireland. This week’s Jackpot will be €6750.
The Club would like to thank Brian and Margaret Anne Dolan, Wild Atlantic camp and Roses Bar Creeslough, Seamus Sweeney Kildarragh Construction Philadelphia, Shaun Langan Creeslough Pallets and Michael McColgan Dunfanaghy for their continuing sponsorship of the lotto jackpot, it is very much
appreciated.

Pitch Gates
All Managers and everyone else who uses the Club Naomh Micheál Pitch at The Bridge in are asked to please close the Gate as they leave.

St. Michael’s Minor Board
Creeslough Sports Day
The annual Creeslough Sports will be held in the Sports Field in Creeslough on this Sunday the 12th August. Hope to see you all there supporting St. Michael’s Minor Board.

Girls
Girls’ training continues at the Bridge on Tuesday evenings 6pm sharp -7pm and 6.30pm sharp to 8pm om Fridays, please remember to bring 2 euro and gumshields.

Under 8’s
Children from 5 to 8-year years continue to train on Thursday evenings at 6pm. New players are most welcome. Any info: please contact Enda on :086 3520644.

U10s
Training continues on Thursday evenings at 6.15pm until 7.30pm. New players welcome. Any queries: please contact Paul on 086 839 7247.

U 14s
Training continues at the Bridge, Dunfanaghy at 4.30pm on Wednesdays. Championship games are scheduled to begin on this Friday August the 10th away to Kilcar. Minors
Well done to the boys who defeated Cloughaneely away last week.. They are away to Cloughaneely on Wednesday the the 1st August.

Please be aware that the USE of all mobile phones and electronic devices with photographic or video capabilities is NOT permitted within dressing room areas.
This was approved by the County Committee on Tuesday, June 5th 2018.

Club Gear
Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure is now stocking St Michaels club gear in children and adult sizes.
Initials can be embroidered on tops if requested in the shop.

Registration
Anyone training or playing must be registered. Registration can be done either on line or by contacting Pauline on 087 949 9479.

Clothes Bank
A clothes bank is now situated on High St, Creeslough ie around the corner from McNultys Bar in aid of St. Michael’s Minor Board. If anyone is clearing out presses etc. all donations of clothes, shoes, bags, curtains etc would be much appreciated.

St. Michael’s Notes 31st July 2018

All County League
Both teams were at home to neighbours Clouganeely on Saturday evening last at the Bridge and both recorded good victories over our near neighbours.
The Reserves won on a scoreline of St. Michael’s 0-14 Cloughaneely 0-4
The St. Michael’s Team and scorers were: Mark Anthony McGinley, Jamie Hunter, Stephen Doak, Michael Rock Gallagher, Ruairi Friel, Ciaran Rock Gallagher, Liam Paul Ferry, Michael McGinley, Christy Toye 0-2, Colin McFadden 0-2, Martin McElhinney, Daniel McLaughlin 0-1, Hugh O’Donnell, Andrew Kelly 0-7, Odhrán McFadden 0-2.
The Reserves also recorded a good victory winning on a scoreline of St. Michael’s 0-7 Cloughaneely 0-2.
The St. Michael’s Team and Scorers were: Dean Fleming, Ruairi Doohan, Brendan Rodden, Brandan McColgan, Shane Langan 0-2, Chris McElhinney, Kyle McGarvey, Lorcan McGarvey, Paul Baird, Eoghan Kelly 0-2, Stephen Coyle, Edward O’Reilly 0-1, John McFadden 0-2, Kit Regan and Peter Sweeney.

Good Luck
Good Luck to the Donegal Team and Management in their Super 8 game against Tyrone in Macumhail Park on this Sunday with the throw in at 2.30pm.

U 16 Boys
The U 16 Boys are wrapped up for the year now having won the Division 2B Championship & the League Shield . Well done to the players and Gavin and Eddie. Thank you to all the players, their parents, the Management team, Francie Brennan and all involved for their efforts and commitment this year.

Minors
Hard luck to the Minors who lost to Fanad Gaels on Friday evening last. They are away to Cloughaneely on Wednesday the the 1st August.
