St. Michael’s Notes.

Comortas Peile Na Gaeltachta

The Seniors get their season underway on Sunday last with a Preliminary Round match in Comortas Peile Na Gaeltachta Sinseir against Glenswilly.  Following a very exciting match the home side were victorious winning on a scoreline of Glenswilly 2-13 St. Michael’s 2-12.

The St. Michael’s Team was:  Mark Anthony McGinley, Liam Kelly, Jamie Hunter, Ruairi Friel, Stephen Black, Liam Paul Ferry, Michael McGinley, Peter Sweeney, Ciaran Gallagher, Lorcan McDaid, Michael Cannon, Martin McElhinney, Chris McElhinney, Andrew Kelly, Eoghan Kelly.  Subs: Kyle McGarvey and Conan Brennan.  Scorers were:  Michael Cannon 1-2, Andrew Kelly 0-4, Martin McElhinney 0-3, Michael McGinley 0-1, Ciaran Rock Gallagher 0-1 and Chris McElhinney 1-0.

The Reserves are at home to Naomh Conaill on this Sunday the 10th March, see fixtures for throw in times.

St. Michael’s Bingo Session

The €100 on the Blue Sheet Game at the Bingo Session in Creeslough on Sunday night last was won by Sharon Gallagher Downings.  The €75 was won by Aisling Ward Masinass. The winner of the €100 on the Extra Sheet in aid of the Danny McAteer Recovery Fund was Mark Finnegan Creeslough.

The Bingo in Creeslough now runs as follows:  There are 10 games in the book and then the sheet game.

The €1,000 on the sheet game is now on 53nos or less.

Single Book including sheet €10 Double Book and Double Sheet €16.

Please come out and support your local Bingo.

Patrons please note that the 50 Club Draw will take place at the Bingo Session in Creeslough on this Sunday night the 10th March.

St. Michael’s Mini Lotto

There was no Jackpot winner in the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto on Sunday night last.  The numbers drawn were 6,10,12,14,17,19.  The Match 5 Winners were Caroline Boyle Castledoe, Mary Brogan Falcarragh and Kevin Carolan Magheramena.  This week’s Jackpot will be €8250.

Membership Registrations

All members (Players and Non Players) need to be registered for 2019 by the 31st March 2019.  Due to new GDPR requirements we are asking all members online at the following link:  https://member.clubforce.com/memberships_cart_m.asp?LL_ID=911&intMF_ID=4298#Anchor.. We are holding a Registration evening in The Wild Atlantic Camp in Creeslough for anyone who needs help in registering online on this Friday evening the 8th March at 7pm for anyone who needs help in registering online.  Please bring payment cards with you as payment will have to be made at time of registration.

Donegal GAA Annual Club Pass 2019
The Donegal GAA Annual Club Pass are currently for sale for the 2019 Season.
This pass will give admission to all **Adult League & Championship matches under the control of Donegal GAA for 2019 Season.
The pass has an RRP of €149. The cost of the pass to the club is €64 leaving a ***Profit margin of €85 per card.
Orders for 2019 Club Pass Orders will be taken via email to the County Office (administrator.donegal@gaa.ie<mailto:administrator.donegal@gaa.ie>) from the Club Secretary E-mail address only.
Closing Date for Orders from clubs will be March 17th.
The Pass covers all  Adult League & Championship Matches. Includes U21 Competitions. Does not include competitions at U18 grade & Below.
Profit Margin of €85 per Card. If a club sells the cards below the RRP of €149 the profit margin will reduce accordingly.

Our new club website is www.clgnaomhmicheal.com. This is a great addition to the club and we hope over time that it becomes the one place where we all go to get all the information about the club, including the club history, all news stories, weekly club notes, fixtures and results, online lotto, club membership, photo gallery and our sponsors. We also hope the site will be of particular benefit to our away members and fans where they can stay up to date with everything that is happening, so please visit the site on a regular basis, to keep up to date with all that is happening within our club.

Pitch Gates

All Managers and everyone else who uses the Club Naomh Micheál Pitch at The Bridge in are asked to please close the Gate as they leave.

St. Michael’s Minor Board

Under 6’s

U6s training continues this Sunday at the bridge from 11am to 12. Please bring hats, gloves and rain jacket. Everyone welcome, €2 each please.

Under 8’s
Great to see so many children at the bridge, on Sunday morning.

Under 10’s
UNDER 10 training continues every Sunday morning at 11am, with the Thursday training commencing this week from 6.30- 7.30 at the Bridge.€2 per child and gum shield must be worn.All new players welcome.

U12 training Thursday in Ozanam Centre. 7-8pm. €3 per player. All welcome (Boys and Girls)

Under 16’s

We have training every Tuesday night at 7 with bus leavening Creeslough at 6:30 sharp. €3 for bus . Game this Sunday over in pcc pitch .
Still looking for a manager for the under 16s.

Girls Training

Training for the girls on Tuesday 6-7 and on Friday from 6.30-8pm (U10s are okay with the Tuesday night training per week at the moment), each girl to bring €2, a bottle of water, runners and boots!

Cash For Clobber

Cash for clobber bins are located at the side of Mc Nultys bar in Creeslogh.
All proceeds from this go towards the Minors.
All clobber greatly appreciated.
